Art Lessons:

Summer Art Classes 2011

Bucks and Montgomery County, Pennsylvania

Subject Material Butterflies, beaches, creatures and rainbows
Student's Regular Classes A variety of art projects will include use of tempera, acrylic and watercolor paint, as well as mixed media and mini canvases. A rainbow will be mixed
Students Advanced Class Beach with ocean breakers, creature with a border, and mini canvases.
Schedule

Classes begin on 6/21 and 6/22, end on 8/16 and 8/17.

Classes will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:30-12:30 for regular class.

Wednesday at 1:00-2:00 for advanced students.

Classes will only be held if filled. Please sign up early to get your choice.

Missed classes can be made-up during other class days offered, arrange with me, or on 8/23 and 8/24 for vacationers.
Student's  Art Class Cost

Cost is $10.00/class      8 classes x $10.00 = $80.00

Discounts offered: Pay in full at start, 10% off, $72.00

Sibling attends, $8.00/ class/ per sibling

Why Children Need Art

Art Educator: Patricia Allingham Carlson

Patricia is a Pennsylvania Certified Art Teacher K-12, certified by the Pennsylvania Board of Private Academic Schools as a pre-school teacher, and has three years of experience with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit working with children in a special education setting. She also served as coordinator for The Coffee House Center of Bucks County Art Program that supports young adults with Asperger's Syndrome/AS and Persuasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified/PDD/NOS Her focus is on creative and mental growth in art through exploration of subject matter, various media, and imagination. Individual attention is key to her teaching approach.

Patricia has been teaching private art classes for children and adults since 1980.

Patricia is a graduate with High Distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education.
