About the Art

Throughout Patricia's adult life she has been painting and enjoying presenting images of the world as seen and imagined. The paintings you see here are frequently textural, suggesting multiple layers of images through time. Ancient scenes, structures, people from long ago, and other realms weave through many of these paintings.

She hides faces and figures in her Dreamscape paintings as subtle representations of the life spirits in living and inanimate subjects. Or perhaps as the impression left by those who passed the scene long ago.

If less inclined toward fantasy, explore the landscapes and visit the more realistic work that focuses on the beauty of nature and Patricia's fascination with the moods conveyed by the human face.
